Jay Wakefield of Kirkland, Washington and Dr Reinoud de Jonge of The Netherlands co-authored the amazing book, How the Sun God Reached America, which chronicles their decoding of abstract petroglyphs found along the shores of the Atlantic discovering that they are actually sea-faring maps inscribed by early precolumbian mariners (pre-alphabet and pre-ogam) that regularily sailed the North Atlantic between the new and the old worlds.

" This is the only book providing solid evidence, reasonableexplanations, and comprehensive dating for megalithic petroglyphs andmonuments. It will fascinate anyone interested in old religions,little-known petroglyphs, ancient seafaring, voyages of discovery, andthe prehistory of Europe and America."
Iagree that it fascinates!! Their combination of accepted datingtechniques with openminded investigation makes for a compellinginterpretation of those examples of ancient rockart.
